Butterfly Fly Away

This little two year old cutie is Anna. She brought fun, spunk, and attitude to the photo session. She is definitely a top model. For part of the session she wore her butterfly Halloween costume. Too adorable! Work it, girl!

Happy 7th Birthday, Daven!

This is Daven. He was a blast to photograph! He kept things interesting with all the fun faces and moves he was giving me. We did these photographs for his 7th birthday. I photographed his brothers baptism just a few months ago. This family is so wonderful and I'm very happy to know them and to have the opportunity to record some of their life for them. Love Makes a Family

And how loveable these guys are! This sweet family is the Erickson's. I was so excited to photograph them. Sara (the mom) does a little photography herself, so I was a bit intimidated, as I usually am when I photograph other photographers, but I think it all turned out great. Look at These Cuties!

This past weekend I photographed lots of families, so there will be lots of updates. :D This is the first family I photographed. Their little girl was way too cute to handle. She gave me the greatest laughs and smiles. I love photographing children with lots of energy, as was our little miss right here. Oh yeah, Mom and Dad were pretty cute, too.

On Friday I had the pleasure of photographing a very sweet lady and her cat. Lillibelle (the cat) was most definitely the most sophisticated feline I've seen around. She posed for the pictures just like a little kitty model. Miss Tenia (her owner) was so gracious to let me move things around in her apartment to get just the right shot. I had a great afternoon with Lillibelle and Tenia. They are quite a pair.

Happy 1st Birthday, Sydney!

Yesterday I had the honor of photographing little Sydney's 1st birthday party. Her parents are good friends of mine from church. They had an amazing party at a park near their house. The watermelon theme was too cute and Amanda and Bobby thought of everything. There was delicious food and lots of games, including my favorite, a watermelon seed spitting contest. The love for Sydney was very obvious at this party. She is such a special and precious little girl and I was happy to take part in her birthday party!

Last week I had the privilege of photographing Phil and Alyssa Carey's wedding. They had a beautiful ceremony at Phil's parents' home. We were a little worried about rain, but it held off and the clouds made for some portraits. Everyone was in great spirits and it was fun listening to the girls joking around before the wedding. In a couple of weeks I will be doing a Trash the Dress session with Alyssa. Be sure to look for those results!
